First rehearsal: Thursday, Sept. 10 (4:45-5:30 pm) - 45 minutes
Performance opportunities: January Family Sharing Celebration & Combined Spring Concert in May
💲 Tuition
$420 for the full season
Includes all music, rehearsal materials, and a chorus t-shirt
Financial assistance available upon request
📌 What happens after registration
Families will receive an invoice from Cantare Productions. Please add president@cantareproductions.org to your contacts or safe sender list to ensure delivery. Once payment is received, a confirmation will be sent. Additional season information will be shared prior to the start of the program.
Preparatory Chorus (Grades 2-4)
A supportive choral experience focused on developing healthy vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills.

First rehearsal: Thursday, Sept. 10 (4:45-5:45 pm) - 1 hour
Performance opportunities: January Family Sharing Celebration, Combined Spring Concert & Community Performance in May

$525 for the full season
Includes a folder, all music, and a chorus t-shirt

Lexington Children's Chorus (Grades 4-6)
An advanced auditioned ensemble for committed young singers ready for a more challenging choral experience.
📅 Key Dates
Auditions will take place in July & August by appointment
First rehearsal: Thursday, Sept. 10 (6:00-7:00 pm) - 90 minutes
Performance opportunities: December Holiday performances with Cantemus Chamber Chorus, Combined Spring Concert & Community Performance in May
💲 Tuition
$825 for the full season
Includes a folder, all music, and a chorus t-shirt
Financial assistance available upon request
🎤 Audition Process (brief 10 minutes)
Meet and sing with the Artistic Director in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Participate in simple vocal exercises to explore their singing voice.
Match pitch through simple echo-singing activities.
Sing a short prepared song using the practice materials provided on our website.

📌 What happens after the audition?
Families will be notified of placement following auditions.
If accepted, singers will receive an official invitation to join the Lexington Children’s Chorus. At that time, families will be sent a formal registration form, which must be completed to secure their place in the ensemble.
Once the registration form is submitted, families will receive an invoice from Cantare Productions. Please add president@cantareproductions.org to your contacts or safe sender list to ensure delivery. After payment is received, a confirmation will be sent.
Additional season information will be shared prior to the start of the program.
